The Charities I’m Supporting

Probably the most important part of my website, for obvious reasons. I am aiming to use the February 2017 trip to Finse,  Norway as a test for the full distance solo to the South Pole in November 2017. The intention is to raise money for the following good causes:

Soundabout

Soundabout works with schools, colleges children’s centres and other organisations that work with people with learning difficulties. Using interactive music sessions, the team aim to foster self-expression and interaction with students as well as encouraging the formation and reinforcing of relationships.

A small charity based in Worminghall, Buckinghamshire, the group has national reach and partners with numerous schools to deliver training programmes for both disabled and able-bodied students.
